1. The service
Swapcoin is a non-custodial interface that aggregates quotes from third-party liquidity providers and presents swap routes for you to execute in your own wallet. By using the service you agree to these terms.
The terms "Swapcoin", "we" or "the service" refer to the software and interface made available at the Swapcoin address. "You" means any person who accesses or uses the service. These terms form a binding agreement between you and Swapcoin, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
2. No custody
Swapcoin does not hold, store or control your cryptoassets or private keys at any time. All transactions are executed on public blockchains and become final when confirmed. Swapcoin cannot freeze, reverse or retrieve on-chain transactions.
- Funds move directly between your address and the destination address through the route you approved.
- Your wallet — not Swapcoin — signs every transaction. Swapcoin never receives your private keys or seed phrase.
- Because Swapcoin holds no funds, there is no balance to freeze, no account to restrict, and no pool to lose to a hack.
3. Your responsibility
You are solely responsible for safeguarding your wallet and private keys, for the accuracy of the addresses you use, and for compliance with the laws that apply to you. Connecting a wallet and signing transactions are actions taken by you.
- Confirm the destination address, amount, asset and network in your wallet before signing.
- Ensure you have sufficient balance and gas for the transaction, including any approvals.
- Keep your seed phrase and wallet credentials private and secure at all times.
- Understand the tax treatment of swaps in your jurisdiction and keep your own records.
Transactions you broadcast are made at your sole election and risk. Swapcoin does not act as your agent, broker or fiduciary.
4. Third-party providers
Quotes and route execution are provided by independent protocols including LI.FI, NEAR Intents and connected wallets. Their software, terms and risks apply to your interaction with them. Swapcoin aggregates routes but does not guarantee the operation of third-party systems.
- Each provider is an independent operator with its own contracts, fees and terms.
- Bridges, DEXes and networks may pause, restructure or terminate their services.
- Your wallet, browser and any wallet-connect service you use are governed by their own terms.
By routing through these providers, you may be entering into a direct relationship with them. Review what each contract and approval asks before granting it.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service for any unlawful purpose, or to attempt to disrupt, overload or interfere with it. In particular, you will not:
- use the service to launder funds, evade sanctions or facilitate any criminal activity;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service, its infrastructure or other users' sessions;
- distribute malware, phishing pages or fraudulent copies of the service;
- scrape or systematically extract data in a way that degrades service for others.
Swapcoin may suspend or block access in response to violations of these terms, unlawful activity or abuse, to the extent it is technically able and legally entitled to do so.
6. Fees
You pay the network gas fee and the provider fee of the liquidity providers executing the swap. Both are shown in the review step before you sign, and the displayed receive amount is the amount you should expect to receive, subject to slippage. Swapcoin does not deduct hidden fees from your swap.
7. Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Swapcoin is not liable for direct or indirect losses arising from blockchain use, market volatility, third-party failures or your own actions. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot be waived.
- Swapcoin does not warrant that routes will always be available, error-free, or yield the best possible price at every instant.
- Swapcoin is not liable for losses caused by third-party protocols, bridges, wallets you choose, or events outside its reasonable control.
- You accept that blockchain transactions are irreversible and that technical errors, network conditions and provider behaviour can affect outcomes.
8. Governing law and disputes
Decentralised software operates across borders. These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction from which you access the service, to the extent consistent with mandatory local law. You are responsible for determining whether the service is lawful where you are located and for complying with local rules. Disputes should first be raised through the support channel; formal resolution is subject to your applicable local courts to the extent these terms impose any obligation on you.
9. Availability and interruptions
The service may be interrupted for maintenance, upgrades, network events or causes outside our control. Swapcoin does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. You agree that temporary unavailability of the interface does not create a claim against Swapcoin, and that you remain responsible for monitoring your own pending transactions during such periods.
10. Intellectual property
The Swapcoin interface, branding, text and design are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may use the service for your own personal or business purposes, but you may not copy, modify, republish or commercially exploit Swapcoin's own branding or interface without permission. Nothing in the service is a licence to use third-party marks, which remain the property of their owners.
11. Changes
These terms may be updated as the service evolves. Continued use of Swapcoin after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms. We will indicate the date of the latest revision on this page. Where a change is material, we will make reasonable efforts to surface it, but you are encouraged to review this page periodically.
12. Severability and entire agreement
If any provision of these terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. These terms, together with the linked documents (Privacy Policy and Risk Warning), constitute the entire agreement between you and Swapcoin regarding the service and supersede any earlier communications. Nothing in these terms creates a partnership, joint venture, agency or employment relationship.
